Created in 2008 by IGA merchants in Quebec, the Fonds Éco IGA is a lever for sustainable development for Quebec communities. It is used to finance projects that specifically address the realities of the environment and that improve environmental practices.
To date, the Fonds Éco IGA has funded over 900 projects all over the province. This year, 7 million dollars will be allocated for carrying various environmental initiatives.

The distribution of barrels will be held at the IGA in Cookshire Thursday, May 21, 2015.
